“You Will Not Ruin Me” appears as track number 6 on Nate Manic’s self titled debut album and is the first single to appear off of the LP since the album’s May release. His former strengths as Smartbar talent buyer translate brilliantly as an A&R person as he has tapped coast-to-coast talent to lend remixes for Quaint But Extra’s first official EP. Chicago Techno legend Mike Dearborn delivers a rework fitting for Berghain itself while Bay Area rave goddess Bored Lord gives us four minutes of hands-in- the-air breakbeat mayhem. Justin Cudmore’s emotional and tension filled remix could easily be a contender for track of the year and no EP would be complete without both the instrumental and A Capella versions, which Nate Manic politely provides to round out the package.
